Our salad bars have been a tradition since 1975. The idea for the salad bar fundraisers came from Althea Van Dusen, the wife of our priest at that time, who had witnessed the success of such events at her previous church.

The salad bars were such a huge success that now, over 30 years later, they are still one of our main fundraisers. The menu has changed some as we now serve soup as well as a wide variety of salads, cookies, and beverages.

The proceeds have been given to a variety of missions such as:
The Welcome Home Shelter, Union Mission of Latrobe, The Blackburn Center against Domestic Violence, Habitat for Humanity, Mom's House, Noah's Ark Daycare Center, and Westmoreland County Food Bank.

Serving takes place in the undercroft (basement) of the church at 145 North Main Street from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cost of the luncheon is $6.00 per person.
