Anyone
wishing a pastoral visit is encouraged to call the church office
to arrange for such a visit from one of the clergy. Please call
the church office when a loved one enters a hospital, as hospitals
no longer contact the church office to relay that information.
Deacon
Ruth Manson supervises groups that provide caring support and prayer:
- Stephen
Ministry - This one-on-one lay ministry provides distinctively
Christian care to those in our parish and our community.
- Lay
Eucharistic Ministry - Lay Readers take Communion to parishioners
who are unable to attend church.
- Altar
Flowers - Each Sunday the flowers that have dressed the altar
are taken by members of the parish to home-bound or hospitalized
parishioners.
- Prayer
Chain - The "chain" consists of members of the parish
who are faithful to praying for the specific needs of others in
the parish and in the world at large. An updated list of prayer
needs is distributed to participants either by phone or by email.
Please
contact the church office to find out
how you can become a part of these powerful ministries!
